Project Introduction

In the desert areas of Egypt, arable land is very scarce and water is almost nowhere to be found, so the development of Egyptian agriculture can be difficult. However, solar energy, which is extremely abundant in Egypt, is a source of energy that can be relied on in the desert areas, so some farmers in Upper Egypt, with the help of the local government, have applied solar power systems to irrigate their farms.

The solution:

In June 2021, Epsivo's Epsivo's EPV series solar pump drive 30kw AC solar water pumping system was successfully installed in a rural suburb of Minya province, Egypt, where the system perfectly solved the problem of water shortage during the irrigation season due to lack of electricity.
