Application of the ES500A in Machine Tool Spindle Positioning
Electric spindle is a new technology emerging in the field of CNC machine tools, which integrates the machine tool spindle with the spindle motor. The main drive system of high-speed CNC machine tool cancels the belt wheel drive and gear drive. The main shaft of the machine tool is directly driven by the built-in motor, which realizes the "zero transmission" of the machine tool. EPSIVO ES500A series frequency converter adopts leading high-speed DSP and advanced flux algorithm, and has the following characteristics to meet the requirements of electric spindle cutting:

Application Cases
Based on the requirements of numerical control system and machine tool design, ES500A series 7.5KW and 11KW vector type frequency converters are adopted on site, which are applied to the spindle drive system of lathe to drive 7.5kW common three-phase asynchronous motor for spindle speed control. The numerical control device of the machine tool and the frequency converter assist each other, and the spindle motor operates normally by setting appropriate parameters.
